Hello,
I use Mipony because it has the advantage of being much lighter on system resources that JDownloader. But I still JDownloader for a single benefit (in my case) he has compared to Mipony.
Indeed, having a premium account Megauplod, when I want to download a single file on the host, Mipony will be much slower than JDownloader … (I said “one file” because if I have multiple files to download, Multi-Download allows a good flow …)
Example: Mipony will download my file at 500 KB / s, whereas with jdownloader, it allows me to download the same file around 8MB / s, the maximum of my bandwidth.
And if this is possible with JDownloader is that it has a function that has not Mipony: Multi-connections (Multi-threads) on a single file.
So that’s why I still use JDownloader and I really liked this feature to be present on Mipony to get rid permanently JDownloader resource heavy, so it slows down my PC.

The bandwidth limit functionality is still not working correctly. Half of the time is seems to drop to 250KB/sec when I set the limit to 500KB/sec or 700K/sec. It consistently downloads at the 250KB/sec speed with higher limits set, but if I turn off the limit, I see the transfer rate shoot up to something close to my max bandwidth. I never experience this problem with JDownloader with the same urls.
Still the problem to recognize the new URL’s from easy-share.

Hi there, although I have been using Mipony for a long time now, I have recently encountered errors on Megaupload and Rapidshare servers. It only downloads up to 99% and then it displays a Download Error message. Please I need some help with this problem as I have downloads that needs to get finished.
Overall I rate Mipony as one of the best Download Managers that I have ever encountered. 🙂

PorĂ©m uma coisa o tornaria muito mais eficiente (ao menos para mim), todos os downloads que faço, salvo um arquivo “.txt” com o endereço do site de origem, seria muito bom se o mipony fizesse isso automáticamente ou pergunte quando clicar em “salvar selecionados na pasta”.

i love this program been using for long time.. suddenly it wont start up. no error or anything, the cursor spins for a sec then nothing. the process shoes up for a sec then disappears. ive uninstalled/reinstalled, turned off virus, tried everything… please help… win7 64bit… i really hate all the other managers i need this one back.
